    Your Wedding Day

Most people describe their wedding day as the best day of their lives, so capturing every special moment and happy memory from the day is all-important to us. Here is a brief rundown of how we will work with you to ensure that your photographs reflect the happiness of your big day:

Before Your Wedding

For us, your wedding day starts with our first meeting. As every wedding is different from the next, we will be able chat about the your big day, our approach, and any special requirements you may have. If you then decide to go ahead and book us, we will then arrange another meeting around one month before your wedding where we can discuss the finer details and any questions you may have. You will also have our contact details in case you would like to get in touch with us at any point to discuss things further.

On the Day

We begin our day in the morning, with us attending both the bride and the groom’s preparations, so that we can capture the anticipation, laughs and nerves leading up to your ceremony. At this time we are on hand to record some of the most special moments of your day, from the bride’s hair and makeup, to the groom’s buttonhole panics, as well as all of the laughter and flowing Prosecco. After this, one of us will travel to the venue with the groom as he greets family and friends, whilst the other will capture the bride on her journey down the aisle.

During the ceremony, one of us will be there to capture the intimate shots from the subtle glances you give each other to the first kiss, and everything in between. Meanwhile the other will be getting a wider view of the ceremony, focusing on the venue and your guests. We will then get shots as you sign the register, and walk back up the aisle as husband and wife as the confetti falls.

Although most of our photography throughout the day is candid, we do like to spend some time with you both after the ceremony to get a few natural looking portraits before the group shots.

During the Wedding Breakfast, we will spend some time capturing small details such as the wedding favours, table decorations, guests, and food being brought out. At this point, we will take a short break to backup all of our photographs from the day so far, and refuel ready for the speeches, cake cutting and your first dance.

FAQs

How far in advance do we need to book?

It is always best to give us as much notice as possible to ensure that we are available for your date. Most couples book us around 9 months to a year prior to their wedding, but it is not unusual for us to receive bookings 2 years in advance. Please contact us today to check our availablity for your wedding date.

Make a Booking

How many photos can we expect?

As every wedding is unique, it is difficult to give an exact number, but as an average we normally say that you can expect somewhere between 350-500 fully edited photographs from a full day booking.

As with the vast majority of professional wedding photographers, we do not provide all of our RAW files. This is due to our high standards and workflow techniques.

When will we receive the photos?

We ask for around 3 weeks (4-5 during peak season) to fully curate, edit, and produce a complete gallery for you, which will also be availabe online (on a private link) for you to share with all of your friends and family.

Will our photographs be watermarked?

Absolutely not. The photographs that you receive are yours to do with as you please.

We're getting married abroad. Do you photograph destination weddings?

We love to travel, and we've been lucky enough to be a part of a number of weddings abroad. Our package prices remain the same; all we ask is that our travel and accommodation expenses are paid for, which we always keep to a minimum. Get in touch today, and we would be delighted to discuss the details of your wedding with you!

How long will you keep a copy of our photographs?

We keep your photographs available to you for 1 year from the date of your wedding. We recommend that you take backup of the files that we send you as we cannot be held responsible for them after 1 year. Having said this, after the first year we archive your photographs so please do not panic...if you have misplaced your USB stick and lost the link, please just get back in touch and it is very likely that we will still have a copy for you.
