Every single wedding that we photograph is totally unique to the couple tying the knot, and for Lauren and Nikki, this could not be more true! An intimate day, with a very vintage and handmade feel made this wedding truly special, and a day to remember.
”The boys at Sundance covered our entire wedding photography from the getting ready to the party at the end, and from start to finish they were professional, friendly and put everyone at ease. The photos were far better then we could even have dreamt of and we cannot recommend these guys more.“

When we first meet up with our couples, we get a good sense of the sort of vibe that their wedding day is going to have; when we met with Lauren and Nikki we knew that this one was going to be a little different! As their wedding was going to have a very vintage feel to it, they specifically requested that all of the photography was black and white only. They also wanted to break from some of the usual traditions, opting not to have any posed group or family shots, but instead they wanted the entire day shot candidly.
The morning started in the beautiful grounds of Lauren’s family home in Minster in Kent, where finishing touches were being put to the marquee, bar and disco-caravan…all of which were hand-made by her father! In spite of all of this, there was a very calm and peaceful air about the place.
A vintage VW Beetle drove up the pathway to collect the bride-to-be and her father, and as they took a scenic drive with the top down, we all made our way to the village church for the ceremony. As per the couple’s request, we were not to photograph this part of the day.
This unique wedding was full of “firsts” for us, possibly none more hilarious than the happy couple walking back down the aisle, leaving the ceremony to a church organ version of the Star Wars theme!
We all made our way back to the bride’s family home, and the celebrations carried on into the night. A Crosby, Stills and Nash LP was spinning on the record player, whilst kids were smashing piñatas tied from trees, and adults were sipping wine and tucking into picnic baskets on tables. A truly beautiful wedding day.
