Nowadays, it is rarer than you may think to photograph a wedding in a church. However, huge ceilings, natural light pouring in and stained glass windows all add up to a wedding photographer's dream. So after a client meeting full of laughs, we were delighted when Marke and Leanna booked us for their day at St Mary's Church in Deal.

The church ceremony gave us the chance to take our time with the compositions to ensure we got a collection of truly beautiful shots. After the ceremony, myself and Dave had a brilliant portrait session with the newlyweds with one of our favourite shots being taken in a small alleyway beside the church which created a silhouette of the couple.
The rest of the day was shot candidly taking in the hilarious speeches and emotional first dance.
