A Christmas wedding is always a very special occasion, but when there is a little baby on the way, the day truly becomes a warm and beautiful occasion for the bride and groom, as well as for all of the family and friends in attendance.
"It was a pleasure to have you with us, we couldn’t have wished for a better person to take the pictures we will show our kids. Thank you again! Helen and I are very grateful for capturing all these memories."Ibrahim Dessouki
I began the day by meeting the Helen, the bride-to-be, at the magnificent Connaught Hotel in Mayfair, London, where I captured all of the last minute preparations, laughs, and inevitable nerves. I even had a little input in helping the bride choose which wedding dress she should go with for the main event.
With this winter's first day of snow, London was covered in a beautiful (yet very slippery) coating of snow which really helped to make the day even more magical.
After leaving the morning's preparations, I travelled with some of the guests to Chelsea Old Town Hall for the wedding itself, which was a beautiful and intimate affair, and random people and tourists all gathered around as the newlyweds emerged under the most confetti I have ever seen!
We then headed back to the Connaught Hotel for the wedding breakfast and some beautifully heartfelt speeches.
