With a sandy beach just 30 seconds away from The Botany Bay Hotel, we had our fingers crossed for sunny weather, especially as Lisa and Richard had brought buckets and spades along! Thankfully, despite the previous 5 days of gloom, the sun shone all day.

A short and intimate ceremony was followed by a trip to the beach for couple portraits and group shots. Weddings are all about the guests getting involved in the couple’s theme. Luckily, family and friends got stuck in making sandcastles and digging holes on the beach.
We also had a first at this wedding…it was David's birthday so during the speeches Richard and Lisa decided to announce this to the entire room, followed by presenting him with a card in front of all the guests. To say he went red was an understatement! What a lovely gesture and indicative of how sweet they are as a couple. It was a privilege to capture their big day, and David and I wish them the very best in their married lives together.
