Your Wedding Day

Most people describe their wedding day as the best day of their lives, so capturing every special moment and happy memory from the day is all-important to us. Here is a brief rundown of how we will work with you to ensure that your photographs reflect the happiness of your big day:

Before Your Wedding

For us, your wedding day starts with our first meeting. As every wedding is different from the next, we will be able chat about the your big day, our approach, and any special requirements you may have. If you then decide to go ahead and book us, we will then arrange another meeting around one month before your wedding where we can discuss the finer details and any questions you may have. You will also have our contact details in case you would like to get in touch with us at any point to discuss things further.

On the Day

We begin our day in the morning, with us attending both the bride and the groom’s preparations, so that we can capture the anticipation, laughs and nerves leading up to your ceremony. At this time we are on hand to record some of the most special moments of your day, from the bride’s hair and makeup, to the groom’s buttonhole panics, as well as all of the laughter and flowing Prosecco. After this, one of us will travel to the venue with the groom as he greets family and friends, whilst the other will capture the bride on her journey down the aisle.

During the ceremony, one of us will be there to capture the intimate shots from the subtle glances you give each other to the first kiss, and everything in between. Meanwhile the other will be getting a wider view of the ceremony, focusing on the venue and your guests. We will then get shots as you sign the register, and walk back up the aisle as husband and wife as the confetti falls.

Although most of our photography throughout the day is candid, we do like to spend some time with you both after the ceremony to get a few natural looking portraits before the group shots.

During the Wedding Breakfast, we will spend some time capturing small details such as the wedding favours, table decorations, guests, and food being brought out. At this point, we will take a short break to backup all of our photographs from the day so far, and refuel ready for the speeches, cake cutting and your first dance.
